About the Event
This workshop will explain the topics covered in the trauma competency training. A ten week course that integrates the latest findings on PTSD, complex and developmental trauma with a clinical focus.
During the ten weeks, you will earn how trauma impacts the brain and body, and how to intervene with efficacy using several clinical methods. Trauma treatment phases, treatment planning and conceptualization, resourcing, stabilization, psychoeducation, processing of traumatic memories, and reprograming of old narratives will be included.
This training has the potential to transform your practice, trauma treatment outcomes, and prevent more trauma to develop.
Certificate of Participation from NYCounselling Services shall be given to participants who successfully complete the course
